The jazz lounge at Catch 35 Chicago has become a popular destination spot to hear great music while enjoying drinks and food around the Catch 35 Jazz Lounge and Piano Bar.

Whether you have a group looking for a spot before seeing a performance at one of the many theatres located near Catch 35, or just entertaining coworkers or clients, you can do so while enjoying live jazz from the Eric Hochberg Trio. Our lounge features an ever changing roster of critically acclaimed jazz musicians from all over the U.S. Catch 35 Chicago features live jazz Tuesday through Saturday.

Vocalist Mark Madsen

Mark is a Chicago favorite in the mold of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, but with his own, unique sound. His early association with the great pianist Bill Evans continued through the rest of Mr. Evan’s life and was the earliest and most profound influence on Mark’s music.

Guitarist Frank Portolese

Frank is a consummate performer evoking the traditional jazz guitar style of Joe Pass and George Bensen. He is also a professor at UIC and Elmhurst College.

Trumpeter Victor Garcia

A rising star in the jazz world, Victor does it all. From his virtuoso trumpet playing to arranging and composing for his big band, CALJE, he delights with exciting approach to music.

Vocalist Yvonne Gage

Yvonne is Chicago’s entry in the “Twenty Feet from Stardom” class, touring with such stars as Stevie Wonder, Seal, and Aretha Franklin. We are delighted when Yvonne brings her own soulful style to the Jazz Lounge.

Saxophonist Mark Colby

Mark Colby has performed and recorded with many stars including the Bee Gees, Dr. John, Wilson Pickett, Maynard Ferguson and many others. He has also released six critically acclaimed albums under his own name.
