Chicago Seafood Restaurant Reviews

Great seafood in Chicago can be difficult, so no doubt about it – you need to read
reviews for Chicago’s best seafood restaurant.

Here’s a few recent unedited reviews we are proud of. We didn’t have to search far for excellent reviews.

Fantastic meal here with family in from out of town. So glad I finally tried this place and my family said this was the best meal they’ve had on their visits to Chicago. Great food, attentive service from the wonderful Carlos, and reasonable prices. All while having live piano music (not so loud that we couldn’t enjoy nice conversation) and spacious layout. Highly recommend! And they have an almost fully gluten free menu, which was fantastic for me dietary restrictions as well. Try the Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi – SO GOOD!!!! Great caesar salad as well. – Leslie M., Yelp, 8/9/2017

First off, I drive a Ram pickup truck and valet refused to park it for me. Catch 35 comped my parking at another garage two blocks away! The staff and food were nothing less than exemplary. We celebrated our anniversary there and had an awesome time doing so. My wife had the lobster and I had the filet mignon because seafood and I don’t get along too well. Both dishes were outstanding. Dessert and coffee were great too. We will be back. – Havin Hughes, Facebook, September 2017

So while awaiting our midnight cruise we went out to dinner. We decided on Catch 35, and boy are we glad we did. I can usually find some small thing to complain about from any restaurant I eat at, but this place, I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. I didn’t have a cocktail, so I can’t critique that. I started with the shrimp crab bisque. It was great, so flavorful, so smooth, and I so smooth. second course I had the fillet steak medallions. It was cooked perfectly, and it came with creamed spinach , fingerling potatoes and an entire roasted garlic clove. OMG, everything was so good. I’m not a big fan of creamed spinach, but this one was pretty good. I was able to sample the shrimp, and all I can say is wow. It was almost as good as lobster. Plus they had a live jazz trio, awesome I really like this place and we are definitely going back. – Tony Buck, Google, July 2017

So what’s our secret? We put a lot of care and thought into our food, service and restaurant. But being in the middle of the country and away from the coasts, it’s not easy to get the freshest seafood and fish in Chicago. Here’s a quick glimpse of how we source our fresh seafood at Catch 35.
